There are three ways to delete Text Bridge Classic from Windows 95.Two of the methods are automatic and will be presented first. If the automaticmethods do not work properly, you can delete Text Bridge Classic manually.Automatic Method #11. Make sure no programs are running when you do these steps. If InstantAccess OCR is on the Taskbar, right click it and choose close from themenu that pops up. Close other applications the same way. 2. Click the Start button and choose Programs. Select Text Brdige Classicand click on TextBridge Uninstall. 3. An uninstall program will remove Text Bridge Classic’s program files,menu items and Registry entries. Automatic Method #21. Open the Control Panel and double click the Add/Remove Programs icon. 2. Select Text Bridge Classic from the list of installed programs. 3. Click the Remove button. 4. The Windows uninstaller will remove Text Bridge Classic’s programfiles, menu items and Registry entries. Manual Method #3There are three steps to manually remove Text Bridge Classic from Windows95. 1. Delete the program files. Method #1 a. Start the Windows Explorer. b. In the left Window of the Explorer, locate the folder where TextBridge Classic is installed. The default is C:Program FilesTextBridgeClassic c. Drag the TextBridge Classic folder to the Recycle Bin or highlightit and press the DEL key on your keyboard. Method #2 a. You may also delete the TextBridge Classic folder from an MS-DOS Promptby entering the following command: DELTREE C:PROGRA~1TEXTBR~1 The ~1 is used because DOS doesn’t recognize long file names. This commandonly works if you installed Text Bridge Classic in the default directory. 2. Delete the menu items. Using the Right mouse button, click the Start button and select Open. 3. Delete the Registry Entries. |
