Mustek and its exclusive partner Forefront debuted a series of iDocScan P100, P75, D50, and D25 scanners at Gitex 2014.

Mustek Systems Inc., a world-wide leader in document imaging scanners is proud to support is exclusive distribution partner Forefrontexhibiting the iDocScan series at the 2014 Gitex show, whichincludes P100, P75, D50 and D25 for use at home, school and workplace.

The iDocScan series comes with an automatic document feeder (ADF), which can load up to 120 sheets for P100/P75, and 60 sheets for D50/D25 to be scanned automatically in a single pass. It can easily handle multi-page scanning of paper or card stock between 28 to 312 gsm (7 ~ 87 lbs) and thickness from 0.04 mm to 0.45mm. P100/P75 can also handle plastic cards and embossed cards up to 1.25mm in thickness. The 9.5″ (24cm) wide paper tray can take paper in wide range of sizes from business cards up to letter, legal and wide computer paper. The other unique feature is the ability to perform long-paper scanning up to 118” (2997mm) for P100/P75 and 25” (635mm) for D50/D25 in length.

The entry level iDocScan D25 is capable to do duplex scanning speed up to 25 ppm (page per minute) and 50 ipm (images perminute) at 200dpi in color, grayscale, or monochrome for low volume scanning. At the intermediate level, iDocScan D50 offers a scanning speed up to 50 ppm (page per minute) and 100 ipm (images per minute) for mid volume scanning. For large volume document scanning needs, the advanced level iDocScan P75 and P100 provides incredible duplex scanning speed up to 75 ppm/150 ipm and 100 ppm/200 ipm to boost up productivity and work efficiency with ease. With an ultrasonic multi-feed detection function, P100/P75/D50 can detect the feeding of two or more sheets of paper being fed simultaneously.

iDocScan series features a durable compact and versatile style with easy-to-access control panel for intensive and frequent use. P100/P75 includes up to 9 customizable presets to choose for fast and easy scanning. Users can initiate one-touch scanning directly from the control panel to quickly convert documents into a standard image, searchable and editable PDF format. D50/D25 includes an additional flatbed glass that offers flexible scanning with maximum optical resolution of 1,200 dpi to scan oversized, bound documents, and fragile or damaged paper.

With the bundled software applications and utilities including TWAIN certified drivers, iDocScan scanning panel, ABBYY FineReader 9.0 , ABBYY Business Card Reader 2.0 (for P100/P75 only) and ArcSoft Media Impression II, users can easily create, edit, search and organize images for scanning, or convert the image via OCR function into editable text such as Word, Excel, PDF, and more.

Mustek introduced a series of high speed, automatic duplex and simplex scanners with iDocScan D50/D20/S20.

Mustek Systems Inc., a world-wide leader in document imaging scanners today announced its first duplex (double-sided) and simplex (single-sided) scanners including iDocScan D50, D20, and S20 which achieve accurate and reliable fast-scanning performance for home, school and workplace.

The iDocScan series comes with an automatic document feeder (ADF), which can load up to 60 documents to be scanned automatically in a single pass. It can easily handle multi-page scanning of paper or card stock between 50 to 130 gsm (14 ~35 lbs) and thickness from 0.07 mm to 0.4mm. The 9.5″ (24cm) wide paper tray can take paper in wide range of sizes from business cards up to letter, legal and wide computer paper. The other unique feature is the ability to perform long-paper scanning up to 25” (635mm) in length.
